Personal information policy

How information is handled when you read the publication, prepare a local brief or contact us.

Effective: 1 January 2026. This policy applies to pavilionsortwalnt.pro.

Who is responsible

Pavilionsortwalnt Research Limited is the controller for personal information it receives through correspondence and website administration. Our registered office is 14 Mount Street Upper, Dublin 2, D02 EY44, Ireland. Company registration number: 762418. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions.

Website visits

Serving a website requires the hosting infrastructure to receive technical connection information, such as an IP address, requested resource, time of access and browser information. Such information may be processed in server security and diagnostic logs. The purpose is to deliver the site, investigate failures and protect against abuse. Our legitimate interests in operating a secure publication are the relevant basis where personal information is processed for these purposes.

The site’s supplied code contains no advertising pixels, third-party analytics, external fonts or embedded social widgets. Supporting images are served as local website assets. Following an external source link takes you to another organisation’s service and its own privacy practices.

The local brief builder

The contact tool builds a plain-text message in your browser. Entered fields are not submitted to us by the tool and are not saved by it to localStorage. They remain in the page while it is open, subject to your browser’s own form restoration behaviour. Copying places the result on your device’s clipboard; downloading creates a file on your device. You control those copies.

If you then email the brief, your email provider and our email service process the correspondence. Please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential operational material.

Correspondence

When you email us, we receive your address, message, attachments and any other information you choose to provide. We use it to consider enquiries, investigate corrections and respond. The usual basis is our legitimate interest in administering the publication and communicating with readers. We may also process information to comply with a legal obligation or take steps you request before entering a contract, where applicable.

Sharing and retention

Hosting and email providers may process relevant information on our behalf. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information. Where processing involves transfers outside the European Economic Area, applicable transfer requirements and safeguards must be observed.

Correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, associated editorial records or legal obligations. Technical logs should be retained only as needed for security and diagnostics. Retention depends on purpose rather than an indefinite archive by default.

Browser storage

The cookie details page can save an essential-only preference when you explicitly choose to remember it. It stores no contact fields. You can remove that preference on the cookie controls page or clear site data in your browser.

Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate information to verify a request.

You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority. Please contact us if you would first like us to investigate a concern.

Security and policy changes

No transmission or storage method is entirely risk-free. Avoid sending credentials or sensitive data through ordinary email. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
