Cookie control details

Reading the publication does not require advertising or analytics tracking. Keep control of the preference stored on your own device.

Effective: 1 January 2026. This page explains storage used by the publication’s own code.

Cookies and localStorage

Cookies are small values that a browser can store and send with relevant requests. LocalStorage is a separate browser facility that keeps values for a website without automatically sending them with every page request. Both can be used to remember preferences and should be explained clearly.

The publication’s supplied code does not set cookies, run advertising pixels or load analytics libraries. It can save the essential-only preference below in localStorage if you explicitly ask it to. Declining to save a preference does not prevent access to the articles or the brief builder.

Your saved preference

No optional trackers are enabled by either setting. This control only remembers—or removes—an essential-only preference on this browser.

Use the checkbox and save to update this browser.

Storage inventory

First-party preference storage
ItemPurposeDuration
pavilionsortwalnt-preferencesRecords “essential-only” when requestedUntil removed here or cleared by the browser

The stored value contains no name, email address, enquiry text or unique advertising identifier. Browser private modes or storage restrictions may prevent persistence. If storage is unavailable, the informational pages remain usable.

Contact tool storage

The enquiry builder keeps its current text in the page rather than saving it to localStorage. Clipboard and download actions occur only when you select the relevant button. Copied text and downloaded files are managed by your device and are not removed by clearing the preference above.

Changing browser settings

You may delete site data, restrict storage or use private browsing through your browser’s settings. Removing the saved preference resets that control on the next visit. The browser may separately cache page assets for performance; this is not an advertising profile.
